ABOUT
The Full Story
I am a computational quantum physicist, science communicator, and speaker. After completing a BA in dance, I transitioned into the field of science by earning a B.S. in physics. Over the past ten years, I have conducted research that includes water quality studies in NYC's Jamaica Bay while educating over 30,000 students and studied the theoretical electronic structural properties of superatomic crystals using quantum many-body methods. A highlight of my career was receiving the 2024 APS March Meeting Top Presenter award for my work on superatomic Wannier functions to study molecular orbital interactions of the superatomic crystal Re6Se8Cl2. Currently, I focus on developing models and machine learning tools that apply quantum many-body to investigate the electronic properties of novel materials.
